Membership Fees

AICDA Student Member Fees
Studying an AICDA Accounting Qualification?Register with AICDA and study your first AICDA Accounting Qualification:
*If you're an existing AICDA student member and an associate bookkeeping member (AICDAQB) you will only need to pay the AICDAQB annual membership fee: £105 |
Studying a small business finance or access accounting skills course?Register with AICDA to study any of the small business finance and access accounting skills within a 12-month period:
*After completing an AICDA short course, if you go on to study an AICDA Accounting Qualification you will only need to pay the student annual membership fee. |
Studying an AICDA bookkeeping qualification?Register with AICDA to study any of the AICDA bookkeeping qualifications within a 12-month period.
*After completing an AICDA short course, if you go on to study an AICDA Accounting Qualification you will only need to pay the student annual membership fee.
Student fees are reviewed at the start of each academic year, on 1 September. You can opt to pay your annual membership fee by Direct Debit - find out more about paying by Direct Debit. |
AICDA Affiliate Member Fees
Becoming an affiliate memberAfter successfully completing the AICDA Professional Diploma in Accounting you will automatically become an AICDA affiliate member. You will stay at this membership level until your student membership expires. At this point, you can choose to remain an AICDA affiliate member by paying an annual affiliate membership fee or progress to professional membership. Find out more about professional membership.
Reinstating your affiliate membershipIf your affiliate membership has lapsed and you’d like to re-join AICDA, you’ll need to reinstate your membership.

AICDA Professional Member Fees
Dual AAT membership
If you hold two types of AAT membership you'll only need to pay one annual membership fee. For example:
- If you're an AATQB and an AAT student member, you'll only need to pay the AATQB annual membership fee
- If you're a MAAT or FMAAT and also hold AATQB membership, you'll only need to pay the MAAT/FMAAT annual membership fee
Reduced membership fees
We recognise that there are times when you may not be in a position to pay your membership fee in full. If you’re a MAAT or FMAAT, see if you're eligible for a reduced membership fee.

* Reduced MAICDA and FMAICDA membership is subject to eligibility and is available after 12 months of membership. Your membership must be renewed annually, and applications for reduced fees must be submitted each year as part of your renewal. Life members are not eligible. MAICDA/FMAICDA reinstatement
Life membershipLife membership recognises and rewards the commitment of AICDA full and fellow members. By paying a one-off fee you can become an AICDA member for life. To be eligible you have to be fully retired, undertaking voluntary work or in paid employment, with an annual earnings limit of £1,000 per annum. If you have a current subscription with AICDA and you apply for life membership before your renewal date, we will reduce the life membership cost against what you've already paid for the subscription.
